Party like it’s 1999…

The Pendennis is an incredible place to host an iconic DJ party, and we have activated many different configurations since opening. We provide event support, but we are not your typical music venue. Below you will find a list of events we’ve run and how they have worked. We have not run or sold tickets to any of these events but have facilitated them in partnership with different promoters. We work with liquor sponsors, provide in-house speakers, facilitate layouts, manage security, and run the bar.

Details:

Up to 550 people in the building at a time
In-house speakers in the ballroom, cocktail bar, and on the 4th floor balcony
Two Evolve 50 speakers (white) plus XLR, and RCA cables
Two wireless hand-held microphones
We have an experienced security team that we work with exclusively to ensure the safety of the guests. The building can be confusing and we ensure that security guards are always paired up with someone who knows the building.

How It Works:

We charge a base price for the venue that includes a venue coordinator, one tour (prior to booking) and one walkthrough (after booking).

The base price is dependent on the day of the week and time of year. For example, Fridays are cheaper in February than July.

Base rates range from $500 - $3,000.

Security requirements: Two guards at the front door, One guard taking tickets (if you do not provide someone) two on each floor in use, one in the basement floor, and two roaming. Please note that this is a minimum complement of security personnel and is non-negotiable.

If you rent the 4th floor only, and have someone taking tickets at the door, five guards would be required.

Equipment we have for rent, rented at a 75% discount for DJ events:

Evolve 50 Speakers (white) x 2
In-house speakers in bar, 4th floor balcony, and ballroom. We recommend supplemental bass speakers in concert with the in-house system.
Wireless hand-held microphones x2
Miscellaneous XLR cables, RCA, and extension cords
