Bad Weather Back Up Plan
We Have Three Options
Please review and consider these options so nothing can rain on your wedding day bliss!#1 Sip And Sit
Option #1: Sip and Sit
If the rain appears shortly before the outdoor ceremony or becomes unbearable during the ceremony we can wait it out until it passes. You and your guests would wait inside, (you could stay in the Getting Ready Suite, so no one sees you) and stay dry and comfortable inside our cocktail bar area & 4th floor Flex space.
There will be some seating available for those needing to sit down. During this time, we can serve your guests Prosecco or open the bar early.
After the rain would come to a stop our team would wipe down the chairs which takes approximately 10 minutes!
Then the ceremony may continue as usual!
There would be no change to the layout and minor changes to the timeline..
Option #2: One Room, One Layout
Looks like it will be poor weather all day, and you do not want to alter your timeline?
We can proceed with the ceremony inside the ballroom where the reception will be already set up. In this case, we would move the tables slightly if needed in order to create an aisle. (depending on the approved layout this may look different with each wedding)
Your guests would sit at the tables in their chairs. We can turn the chairs to face towards the arch as best as possible. This option will help your day stay on track and will affect the timeline ever so slightly as we may have to move a few things around after the ceremony during cocktail hour. If no cocktail hour is applicable, we would kindly ask guests to leave for a short duration of time (likely no longer than 15- 20 min) to readjust the room. They are welcome to hang out in the cocktail bar space and or on the 4th floor
Option #3: Classic Ceremony
3. Classic Ceremony
Must be decided by 9 AM on the wedding day.
The turnover would then be the original required turnover time. There may be no way to shorten the time required for turnover.
The ceremony would then be set up in the ballroom and guests must leave while the space is prepared for the reception.
Turnover time with guests off site is mandatory.
We cannot accommodate guests for three hours of down time without food and beverages being offered as well as comfortable seating. Even with those options, there may not be enough space to make this comfortable.
Guests can return for cocktail hour after two hours. We cannot guarantee a faster turnover time. The guests cannot stay on site during the set up.
