Is it included in my rental?
As most clients book a professional DJ who provides their own system, our in house sound system is not automatically included with every rental. It is included in some rental packages, like our Christmas Package and our Legacy Package. Otherwise, it can be rented a la carte as needed per floor at a half day or full day rate.
How does it work?
If you have a DJ, they can connect via XLR cable into our XLR panel in the wall. There is no other way for them to connect to our system.
If you do not have a DJ or AV tech, please send us a Spotify or Youtube playlist and we can play it throughout the evening. Don’t have one? Let us know what sort of vibe you would like and we’ll put one on for you.
XLR Panel Locations:
Ballroom: West, North, and East walls.
Balcony: West side attached to the vestibule.
Cocktail Bar: West wall (black wall).
AV Tech Services:
If you do not have a DJ or an AV tech, we can only set it up as background music or to use our in-house mic. Our staff are not AV techs and cannot provide AV services outside of a sound check when you arrive, or to turn on the music. If you have speeches, they are not responsible to be there to turn the mic on and off, manage the sound quality, or otherwise run AV for events. If you need AV services, please hire one of the amazing AV companies in the city. We love Cine AV and Sokaris.
